How do I determine my size?
A size chart is provided on each product page to help you determine the best fit for you. You can also find the size guide here. In the product description, you will find a recommendation letting you know if you should size up. If you're unsure about sizing, you can always contact us for assistance.
Do the colours of the products on the website match the actual product?
We strive to accurately represent the colours of the products on the website. However, due to variations in monitor settings and lighting conditions, there may be slight differences between the colours displayed online and the actual product.
Ordering & Payment:
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, and Apple Pay.
Is it safe to order online from your website?
Yes, Dad's Old Vinyl uses secure payment gateways and adheres to industry standards for data protection to ensure the safety of your online transactions.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
As long as the fulfilment process has not yet started, we can change or cancel your order. However, this is not guaranteed. Contact our customer support team here as soon as possible for assistance.
Important Notes:
You cannot change or cancel an order once it has entered the fulfilment stage.
- Changing a product within an order may reset the order deadline, potentially extending the fulfilment time.
- Cancelling an order may incur a cancellation fee if the order has already been processed or printed.
Where is my order confirmation?
It can take a couple of hours after you have placed your order before you receive your order confirmation email. Please remember to check your spam folder.
I entered the wrong shipping address. What should I do?
If you entered the wrong address please email us right away with your order number and correct address. Please note delivery may be delayed and we can not guarantee changes if the fulfilment process has begun.

How long does delivery take?
- Orders are typically shipped out within 7 to 14 days of placing the order.
- Once the order has been shipped - 2 to 5 day shipping for domestic orders.
- 4 to 15-day shipping for international orders, depending upon customs clearance.

Dad's Old Vinyl offers domestic and international shipping. Shipping rates are calculated based on your location and the shipping method you choose.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, Dad's Old Vinyl ships to most countries worldwide.
How can I track my order?
You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped. You can track your order's progress on the shipping carrier's website.

What to do if your order hasn't arrived?
Firstly, we are very sorry that your parcel is missing, we will try and do everything we can to help locate your order.
If Your Order Failed to Deliver:
If your package couldn't be delivered due to an incorrect address or was unclaimed, it will be returned to our facility. We will contact you to confirm your address for reshipment. Please be aware that reshipping the order may incur additional shipping costs. To avoid this in the future, double-check your address details at checkout.
Lost in Transit Orders:
If your order hasn't arrived past the estimated delivery date:
- First, check the tracking information for any updates.
- Second, verify the shipping address you provided was correct.
- Lastly, if the address was accurate and the package is still missing, get in touch with us. We will investigate further. We recommend taking out shipping protection, to cover against lost, stolen or damaged packages.
Order Marked as Delivered But Not Received:
If the tracking states your order was delivered but you haven’t received it, please check around your delivery area or with neighbours. Sometimes packages are placed in unexpected spots by delivery personnel. If you still can’t locate your order, contact us for assistance.
Please note, we do not cover refunds for orders that are marked as delivered by the carrier.
Returns & Exchanges:
What is your return policy?
Dad's Old Vinyl offers a 30-day return policy.
Damaged or Incorrect Product? Please inspect your order upon arrival. If there's any issue – a defect, damage, misprint, or you've received the wrong item – please contact us immediately. We aim to resolve any problems swiftly.
All items must be unworn and unwashed and in their original condition. Please note, you must notify us within 14 days of receiving the item. You can read our full terms here.
How do I return or exchange an item?
To initiate a return or exchange, contact us by emailing returns@dadsoldvinyl.com with your order number and reason for return. We will be happy to provide you return instructions.. Read more here.
Are returns free?
All shipping costs are non-refundable. Customers cover the cost of return shipping, unless your items arrived damaged or incorrect.
How long does it take to process a refund?
Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after receiving your returned item.

How should I wash and care for my clothing items?
Keeping Your Dad's Old Vinyl Threads Fresh for the Long Haul!
Washing Instructions
Read the Label: Always check the care label on your garment for specific instructions. Different fabrics may require slightly different care.
Separate Colors: Wash colored garments separately to prevent colors from bleeding onto each other.
Machine Wash Warm: Your apparel can be machine washed in warm water up to 40°C (105°F). This helps effectively clean the fabric while minimizing the risk of shrinkage and preserving the print quality.
Gentle Cycle: Opt for a gentle cycle to protect the fabric and the print. Avoid using heavy-duty cycles that may cause unnecessary stress on the garment.
Mild Detergent: Use a mild detergent to clean your apparel. Harsh detergents may affect the colors and the fabric.
Avoid Fabric Softeners: Fabric softeners can weaken the fibers and affect the print quality. It's recommended to skip fabric softeners when washing.
Turn Inside Out: Turn your Dad's Old Vinyl apparel inside out before washing to help protect the printed design and minimize friction during the wash.
Drying Instructions
Air Dry Preferred: Whenever possible, air dry your Dad's Old Vinyl apparel. Hanging them on a line or laying them flat can help maintain their shape and prevent shrinkage.
Low Heat Tumble Dry: If you use a dryer, choose a low heat setting. High heat may cause the fabric to shrink and affect the print.
Remove Promptly: Remove your apparel from the dryer promptly to minimize wrinkles and help maintain the garment's shape.
Ironing Tips
Inside Out: Iron your apparel inside out to protect the print. Use a low to medium heat setting.
Avoid Direct Heat: Do not iron directly on the printed design. Place a cloth or parchment paper between the iron and the design to prevent damage.
Special Considerations
Stains: Treat stains promptly with a mild stain remover or spot-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals that may damage the fabric or print.
Avoid Bleach: Do not use bleach on your apparel, as it can damage the fabric and affect the colors.
No Dry Cleaning: Do not dry clean your Dad's Old Vinyl apparel, as the chemicals and processes used can damage the fabric and the prints.
Items are pre-shrunk, so they should not shrink significantly if washed according to the care instructions.
Account & Newsletter:
How do I create an account?
- During checkout: When you proceed to checkout, you will be prompted to either log in to an existing account or create a new one.
- If you already have a customer profile, you can log in with the email address associated with your customer profile to view their orders and account information. When you enter your email address, you'll receive an email with a one-time, 6-digit code that you need to enter to log in,
- If you log in with an email address that's not associated with an existing customer profile, then a new customer profile is created automatically.
- If you have Shop Pay activated, then you can sign in with their Shop credentials and saved passkeys. Sign-in with Shop is activated automatically for new customer accounts.
- Both methods allow you to sign in or create an account. Customers signed in with Shop reach the checkout with saved shopping information pre-filled, defaulting them to checkout in one tap with Shop Pay.
How can I subscribe/unsubscribe from your newsletter?
You can subscribe to their newsletter by entering your email address in the newsletter signup box at the bottom of our website. To unsubscribe, click on the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any newsletter email.
